24 years later the sentence of life imprisonment was awarded to Abu Salem, convicted for bomb blasts in Mumbai

Mumbai. In the Mumbai serial blast case today, special TADA court has sentenced Abu Salem and Karimullah Khan to life imprisonment. While Karimullah has imposed a fine of two lakhs. The same, Riyaz Siddiqui has been sentenced to 10 years. While Tahir Merchant and Feroz Abdul Rashid have been sentenced to death. After hearing the sentence, Abu Salem sat down on the bench and cried.
Another accused, Mustafa Dosa, has died due to a heart attack. The court had convicted six persons including Abu Salem, one accused was acquitted.
On June 16, the court also convicted Abu Salem, Mustafa Dosa, Firoz Abdul Rashid Khan, Tahir Merchant, Karimulla Khan and Riaz Siddiqui. Salem has been found guilty of bringing arms to Bharuch from Mumbai. Mustafa Dosa has been found guilty of murder, conspiracy and terrorist activities. Feroze Abdul Rashid Khan was found guilty of conspiracy and murder. Tahir was found guilty of involvement in the plot of the merchant's assault.

The TADA court believes that Mustafa Dosa, Abu Salem, Tahir Merchant and Firoz Khan were the main conspirators.
